The large Aussie retail stores need to go online to survive. It is a massive opportunity for them. With brand awareness, stock and reputation, they have a long head start over new online stores, yet choose to follow the old road. Kodak took too long, Yellow Pages took too long. They need to get funky fast.

Understandably, retail stores choose the old road because the old road has much higher profits per sale. Makes sense.

The problem is, their customers are taking different roads which have less profits.

So, they need to sell on both roads. Some with high profits, some with low profits. At least they still profit.
